Pag-ibig eases rule on short-term loans

DAVAO CITY, Philippines—The Home Development Mutual Fund, or known as the Pag-ibig Fund, announced new guidelines, which will provide short-term loans and expanded raffle promo.

Grace Camanagacan, head of Pag-ibig’s Davao Central Member Services, said that members who have contributed for 24 months could now avail 80 percent loan entitlement while those members who have a month of contribution could now avail loan application within six months.

She added that a member could also avail of a multi-purpose loan or calamity loan as long as their accounts are not in default.

“I hope with our new guidelines many could avail the loans for six months. I hope many will now avail our short term loans,” Camanagacan said.

Meanwhile, Camanagacan also announced their annual event dubbed as the “6th I DO Kasalang Bayan” come Feb. 14, which will be held at SMX Lanang. (
